Karate Calendar 2021 (No Class Days)

We have class every Wednesday and Friday except the following dates for the remainder of the 2021 school year:
Accepting New Students Feb. 2021

We are accepting new students during the month of February starting Wednesday, Feb. 03. We are unable to accept drop-ins in order to comply with our COVID-19 operational plan, however, so please contact us in advance if you are interested. Spaces are limited based on our Operational Plan.
Classes Resume Jan. 13

Classes for 2021 are starting on Webnesday, January 13. We are operating under the same operational plan for COVID-19. Class times are as in 2020, junior and senior students should arrive between 6:45 and 7:00 pm, and in order to remain compliant with our operational plan, we will need to adhere closely to times. The Junior class will depart between 7:45 and 8:00 pm.

The Province of Prince Edward Island has announced a 14-day "circuit breaker" of enhanced COVID-19 controls in order to stop community transmission on Prince Edward Island.
Resumption of Class, Dec. 04

We are happy to announce that we are being allowed to return to East Wiltshire School under our COVID-19 Operational Plan, attached. Please note that there is a strict mask requirement for all students and attendees, including while exercising, in order to ensure the safety of everyone in attendance.
Karate 2020 Start Suspended

Due to the Public Schools Branch decision to suspend access of outside groups to school gymnasiums, we are suspending the start of the 2020 karate year.
Karate Year, 2020/2021

Cornwall Karate is excited to announce that we will be returning in the new year. We will be back at East Wiltshire Intermediate School on the same nights. Due to the "pause" on communty group access to school following the start of the school year, we tentatively expect to start no earlier than Wednesday, Nov. 04, but this is subject to change.
COVID-19 Update - Spring 2020 Session Canceled

There has been a further update from the Province that schools will remain closed until May 11. We have a longer path ahead to stop the spread of COVID-19, and we all must do our part. Therefore, Cornwall Karate Club is canceling the remainder of the Spring 2020 karate session.
COVID-19 Statement and Class Cancelations

In response to the COVID-19 outbreak, the Chief Public Health Officer and the Minister of Education have declared that the March Break hiatus will be extended by two weeks, and schools will reopen no earlier than April 6.
